Tim Payne

Born and raised in Cañon City, Mr. Payne worked at Mountain View Core Knowledge School as the Director of Maintenance. Prior to that, he was employed at the First National Bank of Cañon City. Mr. Payne was elected Fremont County Commissioner in 2012 and currently serves on the Cañon City Fire Protection District Board of Directors, Star Point Board of Directors, Gold Belt Board of Directors, the Arkansas River Basin Roundtable, is the Vice Chairman of the Regional Land Use Study, and is a member of the Community Relations Board. Mr. Payne served on the Cañon City Recreation District Board of Directors from 2004 – 2014 and has been on the UAWCD Board of Directors since 2016.
