The
Arkansas River Trust
is a local non-profit organization who's mission is to promote and enhance
river related values in the Upper Arkansas Valley through parks and open
space development, community outreach and education, and preserving and
enhancing the ecological health of the Arkansas River. The Trust is currently
working on a riverwalk enhancement project near the "F" street
bridge in Salida.
The Upper Arkansas Water Conservancy District recently became a contributing
